Call for ICMR'14 Workshop Proposals (http://www.icmr2014.org/) ============================================================== Overview: --------- ICMR 2014 Workshop Co-Chairs invite active members of community to submit workshop proposals. The selected workshops will focus on topics relevant to multimedia retrieval researchers and practitioners and should trigger lively discussions and interactions among participants. They should differ from the main topics covered in the conference yet attract fellow members of the community. Emerging research themes with interests to the multimedia research community will be favored. Submissions should be done using on the EasyChair ACM ICMR 2014 website: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=acmicmr2014 Submission should include the following details: * Title * Abstract * Relevance and significance of this workshop to the main conference * Length – Full day or half day * A draft workshop call for papers * The names, affiliations, email addresses and short bio of the workshop organizers * A list of potential Program Committee members and their affiliations (submission should not exceed 4 pages, including CFP) Reviewing: ---------- Workshop proposals will be reviewed by ICMR 2014 Workshop Chairs based on three criteria: a) the likely interest of the workshop to ICMR attendees, b) the breadth and depth of the topic, c) the expertise and credential of the organiser(s) Important Dates: ---------------- Proposal Submission Deadline: 15th November 2013 Proposal Acceptance: 1st December 2013 Workshop Paper Submission Deadline: 1st February 2014 Woskshop Camera Ready: 10th March 2014 Workshop Day: 1st April 2014 Workshop Co-chairs: ------------------- Benoit Huet (EURECOM, France) Chong-Wah Ngo (City University HK) Vincent Oria (New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA)
