CALL FOR DEMO

The Tenth ACM-IEEE International Conference on Distributed Smart
Cameras (ICDSC 2016) solicits interesting demonstrations of original
research prototypes related to all aspects of distributed sensor
networks. The demo session aims to present innovative demonstrations
of cutting-edges technologies and prototypes. The session is opened to
researchers and industrial partners to strengthen collaborations and
create newer interactions. It offers an exciting opportunity to show
your research prototypes to a wide audience of professionals from
different fields. As in the previous editions, all demonstrations
coming from the research areas relevant to the ICDSC conference are
encouraged for submission.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

Smart image sensors and vision chips

* Circuits and systems for image sensing

* Parallel processing hardware

* HW/SW co-design for embedded vision

* Reconfigurable vision processing arch.

* High-performance image sensors

Emerging applications and case studies

* Vision-based smart environments

* HCI and smart environment applications

* Distributed multimedia and gaming apps

* Position discovery and middleware apps

* Context-aware networks

* Social media and big data

Formatting and Submission Guidelines:

All submitted demo proposals must be formatted according to ICDSC's submission guideline and must be no longer than three (3) pages. This page limit includes paper title, authors and affiliation, abstract, body, screenshots, and bibliography. Accepted demo proposals will appear in the final ICDSC 2016 ACM proceedings. Submissions in PDF should be uploaded to the conference submission website under the demo track.

Demo proposals will be selected based on (a) the novelty and originality of the demo and the underlying research, (b) the technical quality of the proposed implementation, and (c) the breadth of the applicability and attractiveness. Please note that at least one author of each accepted demo presentation must register for the conference and present the demo.
