CALL FOR PAPERS

ACM ICDSC will host a PhD Forum providing an opportunity to PhD
students for presenting their dissertation research, recently finished
or still ongoing in many disciplines including Smart image sensors and
vision chips, smart cameras and network architectures, Visual sensor
networks, distributed computer vision and emerging applications and
case studies. It is followed by an open discussion and suggestions by
a panel of experienced researchers in the field. It held in the form
of a poster session preceded by a short oral presentation of the work
(3-4 slides).

This forum is held to encourage participating PhD students to present
their work and receive valuable feedback from experts in the related
fields and let them know about interesting others' work in progress.

 Submission Instructions:

Current PhD students are invited to submit a two-page extended
abstract in PDF format that follows the ICDSC regular-paper (Please
refer to the ICDSC regular-paper submission instructions for
details). The paper title must begin with the words « PhD Forum: »
Submissions in PDF should be uploaded to the conference submission
website under the PhD Forum track.  Submissions will be reviewed to
ensure quality and relevance. Decisions will be made based on
technical merit and innovation as well as their potential to simulate
interesting discussions and exchange of ideas at the conference.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and
catalogues at ACM.
