PAMI-TC Meeting CVPR 2016

---

Call for PAMI-TC Motions: There will be a PAMI-TC meeting at CVPR 2016
(exact scheduling details will be provided soon). Please send any
proposed motions to morse@byu.edu by May 27, 2016. Note that as usual
the entire set of motions to be voted on, including the CVPR 2019
bids, will be circulated to the PAMI-TC mailing list in advance of the
meeting. Voting will be conducted electronically at CVPR 2016 and will
be open to all registered attendees. We invite teams proposing
locations for 2019 to also verify potential availability in 2020.

Call for Proposals for CVPR 2019. Please send proposals to
morse@byu.edu by May 27, 2016. The proposal should include the
following information: dates, city, meeting site, hotels, and team
details (general chairs, program chairs, finance chair, local
arrangements, and some of the other members in charge of the program).
CVPR is generally held during the second through fourth weeks of June.
The primary meeting site should be capable of supporting up to 3000
attendees, which generally means convention centers or similar venues.
The team should contact the site to make sure the intended dates are
indeed available and attempt to reserve those dates if possible. The
proposal should specify the sponsorship model (pure IEEE-CS, mixed
IEEE-CS/CVF, or other) and include a preliminary budget. After
proposals are submitted, additional information may be requested by
the PAMI-TC Executive Committee or potential sponsors.

At last year's TC meeting at CVPR 2015, a motion was passed to try to
co-locate CVPR 2019 with ICML, and preference will be given to
proposals that achieve this. Note that co-location does NOT mean a
combined conference. It simply means that the two meetings should be
in a common location, or at least relatively close locations, and
scheduled so as to allow travelers to conveniently attend both
meetings.
