First Workshop on Multimedia Analytics with Multimodal Large Language Models

The First Workshop on Multimedia Analytics with Multimodal Large
Language Models at ACM Multimedia 2025 aims to explore the potential
and pitfalls of bringing Multimodal Large Language Models into
multimedia analytics, and the new forms of interaction between system
and experts that emerge from this. To guide this exploration we invite
original research and position papers on (but not limited to) the
following topics:
Multimodal Large Language Models
Multimedia Analytics
Multimedia Interaction
Multimedia Summarisation
Visual Analytics
Interactive Multimedia Systems
Human-in-the-Loop Reinforcement Learning
Important Dates:
Paper submission deadline: June 20, 2025
ACM MM-25 Fast Track submission deadline: July 11, 2025.
Author acceptance notification: August 1, 2025
Camera-Ready: August 11, 2025
Workshop date: 27/28 October 2025
Authors are invited to submit original full (up to 8 pages) or short
(up to 4 pages) papers to be presented at the workshop upon
acceptance. Papers rejected or withdrawn from ACM Multimedia 2025 can
be resubmitted to this workshop via the Fast Track.
Accepted papers will be published in the ACM-MM Workshops proceedings.
You can submit your work via OpenReview. All listed authors must have
an up-to-date OpenReview profile. Note that creating a profile without
an institutional email may require moderation (up to 2 weeks).
