10th International Workshop on Image Mining: Theory and Applications Call for Papers

We are pleased to invite you to submit your work to
IMTA-X-2026, the
10th International Workshop on Image Mining: Theory and Applications.

The workshop will be held in a hybrid format
(in-person and online) in conjunction with the
28th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR 2026)
in Lyon, France.

Important Dates:

Paper Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026

    Author Notification: June 10, 2026

    Camera-Ready Deadline: June 20, 2026

    Workshop Date: August 21, 2026

Scope & Topics: IMTA-X-2026 focuses on methodological advances and
mathematical techniques for automating image mining. We welcome
submissions in domains including, but not limited to:

Methodological Advances in Image Analysis and Pattern Recognition

New Mathematical Techniques in Image Mining

Image Models, Representations, and Features (Image Formalization Space)

Automation of Image and Data Mining

Analysis of Ill-Structured, Incomplete, and Contradictory Data

Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Image Mining

Applied Problems (Biology, Medicine, Industrial Applications, etc.)

Submission & dual publication:

Papers must be submitted in English via CMT:
    https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IMTA2026

Papers should be between 6 and 15 pages, formatted according to
    Springer LNCS guidelines.

A dual publication has been put in place, where authors can
participate in both of the following tracks sequentially:

Workshop Proceedings (LNCS): Accepted full papers will be
published electronically in the official ICPR Workshop Proceedings
via the Springer LNCS series. (See our previous LNCS proceedings
    here: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-78107-0).

Journal Special Issue (PRIA): We plan to select accepted papers
(provided they are of considerable length and have high potential
for extension) for publication in a dedicated volume of the
peer-reviewed journal Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis
(PRIA, Springer, Scopus Q3). (See our previous PRIA volume
    dedicated to IMTA-IX here:
    https://link.springer.com/journal/11493/volumes-and-issues/34-4).
