Physics-Aware Video gEneration and Restoration (PAVER) workshop at ICPR 2026

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite submissions to the 1st Workshop on
Physics-Aware Video gEneration and Restoration (PAVER), to be held in
conjunction with ICPR 2026 (28th International Conference on Pattern
Recognition), August 17-22, 2026, in Lyon, France.

PAVER aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from
computer vision, machine learning, and physics-based modeling to
advance the development of physics-aware approaches for video
generation and restoration. The workshop emphasizes integrating
physical constraints and real-world priors into generative video
models to improve realism, temporal consistency, and robustness across
applications.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  *   Physics-aware video generation and restoration
  *   Temporal consistency and long-term dynamics in video models
  *   Video super-resolution and enhancement
  *   Diffusion, GAN, and transformer-based video generation
  *   Synthetic data generation and simulation-to-reality transfer
  *   Efficient and real-time video restoration
  *   Benchmarking and evaluation metrics
  * Application-driven video enhancement (e.g., medical, autonomous
  driving, surveillance)
  *   Ethical considerations in generative video modeling


Submission Guidelines:

  * Accepted full papers will be published in the official ICPR 2026
  Workshop Proceedings in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)
  series. Short papers will be presented at the workshop but will not
  appear in the LNCS proceedings.

  * Submissions must follow the LNCS formatting guidelines provided on
  the ICPR 2026 website.
  *   Papers must not exceed 15 pages, including references.
  *   Only full papers (more than 6 pages) will be published in the proceedings.
  *   Short papers (6 pages or fewer) will be presented at the workshop.
  *   All submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
  *   Papers will undergo peer review by the program committee.

  *   Submission Deadline: May 01, 2026
  *   Author Notification: June 10, 2026
  *   Camera-Ready Deadline: June 20, 2026
  *   Workshop Date: August 22, 2026
