ISPRS Optical 3D Metrology (O3DM) workshop or the 9th International Workshop Low Cost 3D (LC3D) Call for Papers
We would like to extend a personal invitation to you to submit an
abstract to the forthcoming
ISPRS Optical 3D Metrology (O3DM) workshop or the 9th International Workshop Low Cost 3D (LC3D)
which
will be held on 18-20 November 2026 in Braunschweig, Germany.
The primary theme of O3DM is precise 3D measurement and accurate
modelling from imaging and range sensors. LC3D focuses on low-cost 3D
sensor systems and open-source, low-cost tools and software that
enable reality capture and related geometric and semantic analysis at
several scales. O3DM and LC3D will attract participants from academia
and industry who are actively engaged in metrology, sensing, and data
processing in different facets, so your participation in the workshop
in 2026 will provide tangible benefits, such as discussions with your
peers and exposure of your research or project work to a wide
audience.
O3DM and LC3D are two complementary scientific events, featuring a
single registration fee, that will offer delegates a wide range of
topics focused on optical 3D measurement systems and applications. The
technical program includes two keynote presentations and two invited
presentations, for instance Stuart Robson (UCL) and Andreas Nüchter
(University Würzburg) will provide keynotes on the latest research
in their fields.
The main workshop days will be 19 and 20 November, while 18 November
is reserved for pre-workshop tutorials. We offer four very valuable
tutorials: 2 full-day, 2 half-day. They feature open software tools
and data processing. Please check: https://lc3d.fbk.eu/tutorials
The Thursday evening will see a combined social event and demo
sessions, where interested researchers and companies can showcase
(prototype) software, hardware, or applications. Let us know if you
are interested in using this opportunity!
Important dates:
- Abstract Submission 31 May 2026
- Notification to Authors 30 June 2026
- Full Paper Submission 10 September 2026
More information on O3DM and LC3D is available on the websites
https://o3dm.fbk.eu and
https://lc3d.fbk.eu.
Abstracts should be around 2 pages in length and include figures and
diagrams to illustrate the concepts in the submission. Abstracts
should use the ISPRS abstract template and be sent to
igp-conf@tu-braunschweig.de before the deadline of May 31,
2026. Clearly indicate which workshop is intended for the submission
of the abstract. Accepted abstracts must be expanded into full papers
for publication in the ISPRS Archives.
We look forward to your valuable contribution to the ISPRS workshops.
Kind regards,
the Organizing Committees
