5th Workshop on Maritime Computer Vision (MaCVi) Call for Papers

We would like to announce that the 
5th Workshop on Maritime Computer Vision (MaCVi) 
at WACV 2027 in 
Orlando, FL

Topics of interest include:
- Detection, tracking, segmentation and re-identification in maritime scenes
- Underwater image and video restoration and enhancement
- Vessel perception, obstacle detection, navigation and SLAM
- Aerial and remote sensing for search and rescue, mapping and
  environmental monitoring
- Multimodal fusion (optical, thermal, sonar, radar, AIS)
- Adverse weather, low light and turbid water perception
- Foundation models, VLMs, synthetic data and sim-to-real transfer
- Efficient onboard vision, robustness, datasets and benchmarks

Benchmark challenges spanning underwater and surface perception are
also coming, including sonar and edge tracks.

Important Dates (provisional, AoE):
- Submission deadline: November 1, 2026
- Notification: November 15, 2026
- Camera ready: November 20, 2026
